I'm looking forward to this fight. Though I don't like how some people are saying it's as big as Pacquiao-Mayweather.

People aren't comparing the two fights directly, but I hear the term "mega fight" and "super fight" tossed around a lot for Cotto-Canelo. Emm, a "mega fight" is what Pacquiao-Mayweather was, this fight isn't near that level.

Completely agree. This is a great fight indeed and one that I cant wait to watch because of the style matchup. But to say its a "Superfight" is flat out wrong. Its a great fight not a superfight.

I see what you're saying, but if only the biggest fight in history can be a mega fight, then there aren't really any. I'd say it's a mega fight. 3rd and 4th most popular guy in the sport going at it.

mega/super fight is not based on popularity alone...its is based on result from prior matches as well...and we saw canelo fumbe vs floyd and lara...we saw cotto fumble vs trout...mayweather and pacquioa had no fumbles

and if pac did fumble with marquez he avenged it with bradley...

canelo nor cotto has that huge win since their recent fumble...

cotto has sergio, but i cant find a person who is willing to give him the credit for that except me

Should be an ok fight. Canelo and Cotto are probably the 3rd and 4th best MWs in the world, now that Martin Murray has moved up to SMW.

The winner will duck GGG, of course. But at least the CW crap will be over with.

Two of my favorite fighters. Hard fight to call, I think Cotto is a little better boxer, but Canelo has better hands and more power.
