I don't think we will see a Super 6 Like Tournament Again! Maybe small 4 Man Round-Robin Tournament but never something like the Super 6

However with PBC Platform he could actually do it without having the issue that Super 6 had

I don't wanna see a Super Six tournament. It locks the top guys up too long & it locks new promising guys out too long.

I'd rather just see a 4 or 8 man tournament with the ability to throw in subs if someone is injured. 2-3 fights win the tournament inside of 6-12 mos no problem.

Super Six is cluster**** & just the round robin part is taking a year. Then you got another 6-12 mos for the semis & finals. And with all those fights & guys advancing who may have took some damage you greatly increase guys not being able to continue & you needing subs anyway.

          4man
          Thurman vs Khan
          Porter vs Maidana
(or Brook in place of Khan or Maidana if Hearn is willing to let him play)

          8man
          Thurman vs Porter
          Khan vs Vazquez
          Maidana vs Guerrero
          Spence vs Alexander
(or Brook in for Alexander or Vazquez)

There would have to be an awful lot of money involved for most of these guys to enter into a tournament where their fights will be decided for the next 2/3 years.
Haymon's got the money to get this done, if that's what everyone wanted to do; the primetime NBC shows, the ESPN shows, and the occasional afternoon NBC show have basically been allocated fight budgets of $3m.

The finals of the whole thing may warrant the need for PPV, but no one is yet commaning purses that will make it impossible to put the fights on TV (co-features would basically feature solely prospects.

Haymon has had years to match these guys into each other and he has not done so. Why would he suddenly change his ways. No tournament. Nice dream that will never happen. No tournament is really necessary. A few good fights would help clear up who are the best welterweights. Brook wants to fight Khan but Khan says no way. Porter wants to fight Thurman so that fight could easily be made if Haymon and Thurman get on board. If Khan and Garcia fought a rematch that would also make it more clear how good they are or aren't. They probably won't rematch though. They both seem more interested in fighting guys who have little chance of beating them.

                That'd be really nice.
Would be quality if it happened, I can't help but think Soence is a bit too green though, maybe late next year he'll be about ready but throwing him in there now is a bit of an ask, and I have high hopes for the guy.

Maybe if Maidana can still make WW and wants to fight on he'll be interested? He always brings excitement and comes to win so I think he'd do well, or maybe Matthysse or someone like that. I'd like Bradley more than Spence but hes with TR unfortunately.

Man I'd love that to happen, if only politics didn't run boxing.
