Floyd-Berto could have been on Free TV and it will get a fewer backlash. But shoving it to everyone on PPV is another matter.

Frazier and Foreman were both in their prime.

Floyds fights tune ups and mistamches after cherrypicks.

Who in Floyds resume = prime foreman and frazier?
Maidana? ortiz? or congressman shot 7 years late my health is more important pacquiao?

Floyd will always be remembered for fighting fights at the "right time".

I understand he's towards the end of his career and boxing has been something he's done since he was a toddler and that its hard to follow up such a Massive event that anything else would pale in comparison. But its still disappointing as a Mayweather fan. I like seeing him fight and he is without a doubt one of the best ever. I want to see him finish his great career off with as good quality of opponents as possible (no I dont expect him to fight GGG)

Ali himself called Foreman a slow, flat footed, nobody. Frazier was way past his prime when they had their third fight and Frazier later admitted that he had an injury in one of his eyes that left him partially blind for several years. Yet Frazier, partially blind, battle worn, and slow still nearly kicked Ali's ass.

Yea but he also fought 4 times that year, two of which were against Ron Lyle and Joe Frazier in the Thrilla. On top of that, Wepner vs Ali wasn't a $75 PPV.

I remember not too long ago Erik Morales wanted to have a farewell fight in Mexico against some can, and no one batted an eye. In fact a lot of people were rooting for him.

Ali earned $1.6 million and Wepner made $100,000.
There was a crowd of 14,847 at the Richfield Coliseum.

I wouldn't totally could have done that as well, and it would have been perfectly acceptable. Berto is NOT ppv material.
