    World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (34-0, 33 KO´s) made the first defense of his title on June 13th in stopping Eric Molina in nine rounds, and wants to return to the ring on Sepetmber 26th though NBC.

    No opponent has been confirmed at the moment. Several names have been kicked around, like Chris Arreola. One person it won't be is WBC mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin of Russia - at least not next.

    Wilder, who was at the ringside for Danny García vs. Paulie Malignaggi last Saturday night, commented:

            All of haymons fighters do this right before acceptng a fight vs an easy opponent.

            Last time we saw this was Stevenson, wilder is nit fighting povetkin.
