I think James Kirkland is a solid title defense at 154. It's not like he's some random bum the guy was pretty highly regarded in the division for a long while and knocked out Angulo after he suffered the lone defeat of his career. Yeah I get the fact Canelo was heavily favored to win that doesn't mean it's a crappy fight though just means Canelo is good enough to be heavily favored over someone like Kirkland.
