Maidana's style would be all wrong for Danny. Danny likes a slow pace and doesn't look to comfortable when you cut the distance on him and get in the inside. Does Danny have any inside game at all? With Thurman he'll have a better shot. They both have about the same pace and power. Thurman sets his shots up better. Great fight for the fans if it gets made.

Wasn't it Maidana that arguably avoided Thurman not too long ago?

I would love this fight. I don't think either of them would have a problem taking it. It's up to Haymon.

Haymon Doesn't Have The Ballz To Make That Happen; He'll Work On Safe Paydays For DSG

Garcia had trouble with Peterson, Herrera at 140. Thurman walks around at 150, 155 lbs. you're going to see against hard hitting full size Welterweights, Danny Garcia won't rise to the top of the division. He gets hit too often, and these guys hit much harder than at 140. Even a great "boxer" like Bradley would have too much in the tank for Garcia. Last night Garcia needed the refs help to stop Mags in 9; Shawn Porter took it upon himself to train wreck Mags cold in 4 rounds. That's why Amir Khan won't fight the likes of Thurman, Brook, Porter, Bradley, Guerrero, Provodnikov.

Of the names you mentioned, Bradley is the only one up to par with Garcia...in terms of statute its a nice matchup, but stylistically that would be an awful fight, boring. Porter would have his moments until he gets caught, Thurman would pretend to be some "slick" boxer and give away rds. Provo would make it fun but gets stopped. I see Brook beating Garcia in a stinker..same tactics he used against Porter would kill Garcias momentum before he even gets going. Realistically Brook doesnt step up ever again. Neither does Khan.

And Danny is a fierce body puncher... volume and power. If Angel is worth his weight, he has that fact etched in his brain and will make sure Danny realizes it. It will be a very competitive fight, no matter who wins.
                    I think so too ^^
