I wish they can point me to the threads and posts where they felt this way about FLoyd after Floyd used the "torn rotator cuff injury" that was said to be the reason for Floyd's poor performance.

Floyd was going to come back months after that fight but was delayed for other reasons (not due to Floyd's injury rehab) and then was still fought in the same year about 7 months later.

How could one post about that fight on NSB in 2002?

People believed Floyd because HBO announcers and Floyd's corner talked openly about the injury. So the questions are about the degree of the injury, not if it existed.

In Manny's case, HBO announcers nor Manny's corner mentioned any injury during the fight.

You and others want the surgery he had after the fight to be proof of injury during the fight. The lack of information and the way Manny used his right arm suggests he wasn't inflicted by any injury to his shoulder during the fight.

Ive been in & around boxing for over 35 yrs The internet was not around then.
Ive done most things in the sport over the years boxed, trained a little, reported for a couple of boxing mags too over the years too. How long have you followed boxing?? Not long if you really consider Floyd Mayweather as an ATG & too call him TBE is ridiculously laughable Floyd had the natural God Given boxing talents of an ATG but lacked the heart & cojones which are just as important. Since about 1979/80. First fights I remember was a 4 fight card don king had on a Friday ended with Mike Weaver KO John tate in the 15th round and the Hagler/Antefurmo fights.
