GGG fans don't give a shit about Lara. Neither do boxing fans in general, which makes him a lousy opponent for anybody.
Golovkin fans don't want him to fight anyone that can cause him problems, that's why he's happy fighting crap.

They didn't want to fight, they turned it down not the network.

If "everyone" = the same 10 people posting multiple times in every GGG thread then, yeah, everyone does hate him.

It's just that the concentrated hate and ******ity makes it seem likes there's alot more of them. The way they make it seem, you'd think that the ENTIRE world thinks that ggg is ducking Lara and ward. In reality, almost nobody knows who the hell Lara is,except for being the guy that ran from canelo for 12 rounds, and the most that ward has been known for in the past 4 years is being an HBO announcer.

That's funny because there's only about 6 defending him in every thread. There's more posters calling him a pusy than defending him.

As for Lara I think he'd be the best opponent for October if they can't get Lemieux, so I disagree there with Sanchez. Doesn't matter if Lara has a non fan friendly style because at 160 against Golovkin he wouldn't be able to sustain that style very long. I completely understand Sanchez wants bigger fights for Golovkin but if there's nothing else available then take what is.
I can't be 100% sure about something that didn't happen, but I doubt that Lara would have ended up fighting GGG, even if Sanchez had ok'd him.

He really didn't have a hope of winning, and even if he didn't know that, his manager must have. I think they were just making noise for the publicity, and if their bluff had been called, they would have shut up.

No matter what excuse you can think of for these fights not happening, they're still better opponents than anyone GGG has ever faced.

Once the, 'everyone is ducking him' excuse wore thin, GGG's excuses sound exactly like any modern day fighter that gets criticism for trying to avoid a certain opponent.

Arthur Abraham, Lucian Bute, Gennady Golovkin. Besides the silver medal, I see no difference in the 3.

That's because hatred is a stronger motivation than appreciation, unfortunately.
