Comments Thread For: Mancini: If Mayweather Beats GGG, Top 10 of All-Time

In other words he enters the ring about the same weight as Canelo but rather than make a case for this fight why not Floyd rematches Cotto and Canelo goes straight to GGG? Seems fairest to me.

Floyd could beat GGG by KO and he'll still never be "TBE." Everybody knows this, except Floyd. In fact, I think Floyd knows this, but because he's changed the boxing game like no other boxer, he still calls himself "TBE." Not because he is undefeated, but because he's not a slave to a promoter, and he made the public pay $100 to see him, and they did! On the flip side, Mancini is a "hall of fame fighter," who only fought 34 bouts, lost his last 4 bouts (2 by TKO) and retired at age 31. He's not really entitled to speak on what Floyd should do at age 38. Mancini retired at 31, Floyd beat Oscar and Hatton at age 30, and demolished Marquez at age 32! So if Mancini is a "hall of fame" fighter, then Floyd is something very special, and on a way higher level than simply "hall of fame." I think Floyd has to be P4P Top 10 already!
