**** Toney, the big tub of kentucky friend chicken ****. If there is no white heavyweight champion how is Liakovich and Valuev a champion right now? And the white champions of the past weren't white, they were faking it? I hope they don't accept him to the hall of fame for comments like that.

There is still no clear proof that those are the exact comments Toney made. Look at when the thread starter registered and look at this as his first post in almost two years, the same poster posted this in other forums as well, where he also was registered for several years without a single post until now.

He chose the guy he already manhandled in Byrd - instead of Brewster. And this is coming from a guy who thinks Wlad is the best heavy out there, so everyone knows I'm not biased in my commentary.

...Don't you think Wlad would have made the Brewster fight if he could have? He was in negotiations with both guys and Byrd got free of King and that fight happened instead. IMO Wlad wants that fight and has always planned on avenging the loss. I just hope the fight with Sergei didn't screw it all up. If Brewster loses the rematch then he serves no real purpose for Wlad if the intent is to try and unify.

Klitschko did not even think about fighting Sanders again, nor did he ever fight Purity or Brewster. It looks bad in the history books when you look back at the record and see three unavenged losses.
What is the point for him to fight Sanders now, I think he retired now anyways, Purrity is way way outta picture, and now with the Brewster loss who knows, Im pretty sure we will see Wlad-Brewster again but now who knows. Lewis faught Rahman again cause he lost his titles to him.

I dont think Toney said this, the fact of the matter is, the great American heavyweight is a dying breed, obviously the big guys choose other sports. I think the Russians dominate the heavyweights for a long time, they have serious strength in depth.

The reason Lennox fought McCall and Rahman again was because he HAD to. They were between him and the belts. Once Wlad had a few comeback fights after those two losses, then Purrity and Sanders were obsolete.

As for Brewster, Wlad had a choice between an optionless fight with Chris Byrd for the IBF title, and a option-agreement, strings-attached pained negotiation with King to look forward to if he opted to fight Brewster.

Whether or not he goes after the winner of the Brewster-Lyakhovich rematch, Valuev, or goes after the WBC title probably depends on King and his option demands. Wlad will probably give him one rematch option, but that's it. I think that was what he had going when King was trying to set up Wlad-Byrd last year that Byrd wouldn't sign for, but King was begging Byrd to.

Then again, if he can unify the WBC and IBF titles without King, then that's probably what he should do. That's what I would do. He would be unified, recognized HW champion and wouldn't need King's fighters at all, they would need him.

** I've heard Toney make like minded comments, but he has saved his worst comments for Brewster and Rahman. He dares not speak the name of Sam Peter though!

Wow thats a pretty ****** thing for him to say.Especially seeing how effective Rahman was with the jab against him imagine what Wlad would do to him....... I do like Toney alot but don't like him as a HW and don't like to hear ignorant **** like this from him.
