There is no excuse for Floyd! GGG offered to come to 154, and Floyd has no better opponent to fight at this point. This is the definition of a "duck." There is also no excuse for GGG! Andre Ward has offered to fight Golovkin @ 168, and Golovkin said that he would be willing to fight Chavez Jr & Froch @ 168, and Golovkin has no better opponent at this time. This also, is the definition of a "duck." Let's not create double standards!

I say either Floyd fight Triple G or retires as a fraud who has always taken the "easier" fight his entire career...
Even fighting Pacquiao 5-6 years too late was still the "easier" option than fighting Triple G...which is the fight I and any non-FIomo hardcore fan would have preferred..but we'll give Floyd the Pac fight he lost for the money... but farewell fights on CBS... pretty pathetic if you ask me..
LOL I can guarantee Pacquiao will be back on PPV his next fight not fighting on TBS or TNT...

Floyd is GAY..........

Exactly this! I said the same thing in the Whitaker/Mayweather thread yesterday. Floyd is overrated. PERIOD. When he fought Oscar, he was at his peak. He talked all that **** and almost lost to a part time, very rich fighter/promoter. If Oscar wasn't old, he would've won the fight. The best win on Floyd's record is a prime Chico. Hahaha! He clearly lost against Castillo and Pacquiao. The reason why Manny is the best fighter of his era, is because of clear ducks like this, by Floyd. The guy NEVER challenges himself. He's like a bully in school who always picks on the kids he KNOWS he can beat up. I am glad the HYPE JOB SHOW is over! Floyd has been killing boxing for way too many years. How can you be Champion in two separate divisions? This is illegal according to the rule book. How do you defend both of those titles in one fight, at Welterweight!?!?!?!? Floyd is like a mob boss who can do what he wants and shouldn't be able to do these things.

Would Duran have asked Hagler to come down to WW or Barkley? Would SRL have asked Donny lalonde to come down to middleweight?
No, because for them to achieve greatness they had to show they could beat bigger fighters. Floyds not into showing how good he is? Yes, he beat Pac, but only after JJM beat him to it. So Floyd has never took fights at the right time to make him as good as he wants to be.
He wont do what is expected of him. Pac even beat Margarito who was 3 divisions bigger than Pac fight night, so Pac was taking a dangerous fight with perhaps not much to gain as Margarito wasnt a champ and coming off of losses. Still dangerous though.

******.com: What is your take on the overall impact and the precedent that you feel was set by your fight with Sugar Ray Leonard, and your decision to accept the conditions mandated by the contract?
Donny Lalonde: I don***8217;t feel there was a great impact. What it did do is have my camp ***8212; my trainer ***8212; concerned about me making weight, and I think it affected our training schedule and focus on weight verses strategy and preparation.
I think that in this day, and in an age where people can manipulate their weight by so many substances, and where there are so many weight classes, that to have a catchweight is a bit of a head trip more than a necessity.
When Ray and I did it, we did it at a new division weight limit, and not between two weight classes. I mean, the weight classes are no more than about seven pounds difference nowadays anyway, so why the need for more ***8220;catchweights?***8221;
