Yeah his option seem very limited at the moment. Canelo and Cotto won't fight him this year. Neither will Lemieux. Quillin and Jacobs obviously can't. Lara is a garbage fight, imo(and probably not possible with the whole PBC/HBO thing). Don't know how possible a fight with Froch actually is. We can go on with this for a while to be honest.

He's already beaten a good amount of the top 20 guys in the division without ever getting a change to unify any belts. Only thing he can really do at this point is either take the rest of the year off or fight the best available opponent(which will probably be someone mediocre at best) and hope he gets a crack at Lemieux/Cotto/Canelo some time next year.

ya no doubt about it. you are probably right about lara but i still would like to see it even tho i think lara boxes well for awhile until he gets caught then knocked out. i would like to see cotto ggg but honestly ggg is a lot bigger then cotto way bigger then people realize. the fight for him is probably canelo or lemeuix but oscar has to be willing to make the fight. It does not seem like they really want to fight ward. I got admit tho im not trying to troll but it does make you wonder why he does not try to make some fights at 168. his body is built for the jump. No doubt tho seems like hbo has the fighters but they have no one to fight

Agree with pretty much everything else u said but how is Lara a garbage fight especially compared to GGG's recent dance partners? Hell WMJ is basically a bootleg inexperienced version of Lara (also coming up from 154) and he arguably gave GGG as many problems as anyone else he's fought

And If both guys really wanted it I don't see Haymon or HBO getting in the way. Tired of ppl using that excuse when its convenient.

Willie Monroe Jr was a garbage fight. Maybe it's just different perspectives... But what I saw in that fight was Golovkin showing no respect for Monroe Jr's power and opening himself up to go for the KO. Maybe I'm wrong and his style did actually trouble him for like a minute... But yeah Golovkin has been fighting some pretty bad fights recently. And that's probably not going to change this year.

Either way I don't see any way in hell Lara can stand to Golovkin's pressure for 12 rounds. Lara's style might have worked against an aggressive counter puncher like Canelo(even though it kind of didn't lol) but I don't see any way he can stand up to a pressure fighter who cuts off the ring and has the power of GGG for 12 rounds. Honestly, that fight doesn't do much for me.

Fight Erislandy Lara already. He wants the fight and GGG has the popularity and the pull to make it happen.

Since when can a guy not fight in his weightclass. He wants Lemieux but David is scared of him and we are blaming GGG? I dont know why I bother trying to teach you guys things, you're hopeless. Let him unify the title, its half the reason people tune out of boxing, there is no true champ. When is the next player hater's ball?

OK so GGG wont move up anytime soon. Im fine with that but i understand when People are disapointed now. Talk is cheap in boxing anyway. Promoters are snitches is it what it is.

Maybe you could show us gullible guys some evidence that Ward actually wants to fight GGG and would be ready for it in September, or any time soon?

Without that, you have no reason at all to say that Golovkin is "quacking out" of fighting him.

... No brainer: Hopkins is acting like a "sacrificial lamb" in order to give some space to GBP champions: Canelo and Lemieux...

... Lara (and his handlers) must provide a solution for fighting GGG on HBO, first.
