Comments Thread For: Harrison: Cotto, Canelo Would Test Golovkin's Worth

Junior middleweight Tony Harrison (21-0, 18KOs) is a big puncher who is rising in the ranks. He stopped most of his opponents in three rounds or less and returns on Saturday night in Tampa, Florida against veteran Willie Nelson.

The fight takes place on the undercard to Keith Thurman vs. Luis Collazo. Both fights will be televised as part of the Premier Boxing Champions debut card on ESPN.

Golovkin will be prep hardest he's ever prepped if he's training for a Canelo, Cotto, or even Lemeiux. They bring a different danger factor than Golovkin's past opponents.

To see Golovkin fight these other guys would be great because it would let the Golovkin fans see the very best from GGG.

        Please...

Lemieux is probably on Geale's level if I'm very generous to him than on Murray's level, he wouldn't pose any bigger threat to Golovkin than Golovkin' last few opponents.
He hits hard and etc... but he is very crude.

I would love to see Canelo in there with GGG after one or two fights at 160, Cotto for me would get stopped easily by GGG. He has been in too many tough fights, fighting someone like GGG who hasn't really been in any wars or who is majorly fresh is a massive disadvantage to Cotto on many levels, Canelo on the other side is younger, fresher and hasn't been in too many wars too.

People tought the same thing when Cotto fought Martinez.
People: Cotto vs Martinez; Martinez is too big for Cotto. Cotto won by TKO
People: Geale vs Cotto; Geale will kick Cotto's ass. Cotto won by TKO
People: Canelo vs Cotto; canelo will schooled Cotto. Cotto wil win by TKO
Cotto: I will teach Canelo how to box.
              Haters in 3,2,1.

I don't care if it's Diva Cotto or Canary Ginger. Just step up and fight GGG. If they ever do and I hope it happens for the fans sake, the outcome will be the same. They both will be knocked the f$&k out. I'm not saying it won't be competitive and a real war but I know GGG's best is yet to come.
My other gripe is these pathetic catchweights. Diva Cotto was good enough to beat both a shot Martinez and a completely weight drained Geale at the full 160 pound limit. If he had done this I would of saluted him and given him the respect.

once GGG smacks alvared upside his head. the beating will begin. it happend in sparring with head gear and will happen easier without. cotto nor alvared needs to to be in there. GGG needs to take his ass up to 168 and stop ducking ward

Cotto will never fight GGG. Canelo might, and that's the big fight. But GGG vs Cotto you can forget about............it's not happening, ever!
