The last thing on his mind is "Getting Up for another Camp & Grind" right now after his all out hype for the last one! He's gotta be doubting his drive right now and he's just as unmotivated as us FANS to wanna see him again. His next fight will suck and involve irrelevant FOE to say the least. I doubt he even fights in September!

And save the whole anything under 154.1 is Junior Middle Weight argument. Its played out.
You have to agree with this, you can't claim to defend titles for 154 when the fight is contractually at 147. Ellerbee was ******ed to suggest this and the WBC was just as dumb to agree to it.

Most likely, as in boxing tradition, no decision will be made by the deadline and things get extended.

For the third time, Mayweather defended his WBC 154 title in Sept. 2014.

Mayweather will vacate something, that much is certain.

but between a WBO Welterweight title and 2 Junior Middleweight belts

wouldn't it cost Floyd less in the short term to drop the WBC/WBA Jr. Middleweight belts (2 sanctioning fees) and maintain his WBO belt

Great point. Didn't even realize that with all the other hoopla going on in boxing!

I'd love to see him fight Brook to unify, defend the unified titles once to break "the record" and than retire! Forget the Jr mids, we will all remember May as a WW in the end of it all not a LW or JrWM or anything else.

Indirectly the WBO is doing the boxing world a favor. Drop the 154 titles or give up the WBO belt. Either way he's going to lose something.

Maybe they should just fight in September.

I doubt the wbo gets any dough from floyd. My guess is there are some strippers about to get rained on.
