Proska lost to Sergio Mora in what I thought was his last fight but he actually got stopped after that by someone I've never heard of.

In Bats defense no one knows how Lara will look at 160. I think Bat is probably rationalizing the thought that Proska was a top 10 middleweight when Golovkin destroyed him and Lara obviously isn't ranked at middleweight at all.

Pound 4 Pound, obviously Lara is better. But at 160, maybe he's the equivalent of Arthur Abraham going from 160 to 168 (pretty good to quite poor) or worse, tough to say without seeing how he looks there. I mean, if Golovkin knocks him out in round 1 people will just say Lara was too small. On the otherhand, if Lara were to continue fighting at 160 and held his own or even beat other top MW's like Quillin, Lemieux and/or Lee, then the win look more and more impressive.

Regardless, if Golovkin were to beat Lara, I'd still think the Murray fight is a better win since Murray is a legit middleweight and Lara is not. Sure, Lara would be the "best" opponent on his resume, but that doesn't mean a whole lot at 160 (extreme example: if Klitschko beat Bernard Hopkins it would be the "Best" name on his resume but it means jack at heavyweight).

Weighing 170 on fight night isn't really relevant since every weight class typically rehydrates ~15 pounds or so. Guys at 154 are typically around 170. Guys at 160 are typically around 175. Guys at 168 are typically around 183 and so on.

Personally, I don't think Lara would be able to hang at 160. I've said this before; he seems a bit fragile at 154 as it is. The way Angulo tossed him around and even Vanes at times was pretty telling. I could be wrong though.
