How did "I know" Lara wasn't going to fight him in May? Tom Loeffler said he would try and make it happen but he didn't bother.

Oh yeah, what was the excuse you used? "Tom is a little goofy in his interviews" or something? Making pathetic excuses for a grown man's statements
Because team Lara never attempted to make the fight with Golovkin. And no Haymon fighters have fought on HBO in a long while. It wasn't an option.

I never said Tom is goofy and made excuses. I clearly stated he shouldn't have said what he said yesterday to the media (about a catchweight with Ward) and that was a mistake on his part. I even went as far as to say if he can't get GGG a big fight within 6 months he should look for a new promoter.

My criteria goes like this - is Proska ****?

      Answer: Yes.

      And so on.
I mean u don't have to go that far to figure that out. Ptoksa never accomplished anything prior to fighting Golovkin on short notice and he hasn't done anything since. And he's still better than like 3 or 4 other guys on the list.

Doesn't matter. At the time Proksa was in fact ranked top 10 and he was a late substitute for Dmirty Pirog, who Golovkin was originally set to fight for his HBO debut.

You mean Loeffler didn't attempt to make the fight with Lara after publicly stating that he would after the Murray fight?

"Tom stumbles around in interviews doe!"

            Of course it matters.

He lost to Kerry Hope before he fought Golovkin.

            Kerry Hope.

He lost to a man called "Kerry"

How would you even know? You couldn't possibly know if they talked to Haymon or Lara's manager, or if HBO simply said Lara isn't an option for May, etc.

Likewise, during that time in March we weren't hearing anything at all from team Lara about wanting to fight Golovkin in May on HBO.

Again, he was a late substitute for Dmitry Pirog and a top 10 middleweight at the time, it was fine fight back then. Of course it doesn't mean much now, but being that was his HBO debut against a top 10 MW when the original opponent pulled out, it was good.

So why are you making a declarative statement on something which no one could possibly know?

Actually we do know. We know the 3 names he went to HBO with and none of them were Erislandy Lara.

Making excuses for Lying Loeffler as if he's some bumbling idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about isn't a good look. I told you he was full of **** and I'm being proved right

I don't care if he was a late replacement for a prime Tyson.....that doesn't make him any less ****.
