Pac held a JMW title, but he totally refused to rematch Cotto at 150, despite naming Cotto as his preferred opponent.
Pac was happy to fight Margarito at 150, but not Cotto.
The funny thing is.....
The exact same fans who claim that Margarito was a great win for Pac - despite Pac REFUSING to fight Cotto at 150 - are the exact same fans who are bashing Cotto because he hasnt fought Hypekin yet.
Funny shht !
" but Pac small doe "..... even though Cotto weighed 153 for Geale

Come on, we know why the rehydration clause stipulation is being put out there. Because Golovkin isn't a past prime fighter like Oscar or Cotto.
We know why the catchweight was made for Canelo too.
I don't particularly expect or care if Floyd fights GGG or not but the excuses are not there. Floyd has fought at the 154 limit and if a fighter can make it, then why shouldn't he fight them?

Why would Golovkin agree to that when Floyd didn't make that stipulation with Alvarez who weighs more than GGG on fight night. No, thank you Floyd Sr.

There is nothing to support that assertion.
Until recently, Team Golovkin would not even mention Wards name, and when they did, it was Able Sanchez blurting out excuses.
You have to go with the obvious.
Pacquiao fans like to assert that Manny will fight Canelo/Maidana/Brook/Thurman/etc..... but Pac simply does not fight top guys who are on top of their game, he never has..... so he is highly unlikely to start now.
The same with Golovkin, he will continue fighting the same level of opponent.

OLD SCHOOL LOYAL HARDCORE fans rather the fighters step in the ring and fight for his bases bragging rights...times have changed my dudes!!
According to his team, Golovkin is happy to fight Chavez and Froch at 168.....
..... so he obviously has no problem fighting at super-middleweight.
Golovkin has never made 154, and has fought the last 9 years at 160.
It would be far easier to prepare for Ward than Mayweather.

This isn't about whether Golovkin goes to 154 or not. He has already stated several times that he will do it to fight Mayweather.
This is about Floyd Sr asking for a rehydration clause after the weigh-in. Did they ask for one against Oscar, Cotto or Canelo at 154?
Also..... Oscar, Cotto, and Canelo, are stars..... Golovkin is not.
BTW, Mayweather Snr will not be involved in that fight negotiation, somebody just asked him for his opinion, unfortunately.

Let's not be hypocrites people. Floyd has no business at 160, that's a given.
