    Not sure what broadcast you watched but Ray Leonard and Marv Albert repeatedly said Porter was comfortably ahead the entire fight. Dan Rafael, Brian Campbell and Kevin Iole all clearly had Porter well ahead.

        The same one you watched...yes, Ray Leronard kept it real..but the other one (don't recall his name) clearly was chearleading any shot Broner landed...

          Dude you should be drug tested and then beaten. There was nothing close about this fight except when Broner would hold, pull Porter down, then lay on Broners back. Yeah that smothers punches. Lol. You're an idiot.

              That fight was horrific and 114-112 is a shameful score. Broner is an embarassment to the sport and should have been DQ'd for the amount of fouls that he committed. He needs to drop down to 135 as he is irrelevant 147.

                      The title of this thread is so misleading saying Porter survived a late scare. Yeah he got caught and suffered a flash knock down but he was NEVER in any type of danger nor hurt in the fight. Porter easily won this fight by a wide margin. Maidana exposed Broner and he hasn't been the same since. Fighting a very cautious style and just trying to pitty pat his way to decision wins.
