I hear ya. Its such a travesty that the alphabet boys does not enforce the mandos. Sturm avoided GGG for years, then Martinez, then Cotto. Hopefully they strip Cotto if he goes on to fight Canelo.

Bat, I get you like GGG and I get HBO is mass marketing the hell out of him. That said, him not getting his mando shot has happened to a ton of other fighters and you never gave a damn.

GGG isn't special. He isn't going to be treated differently. The Sanctioning bodies are going to do what they always do-not enforce mando's when they can get a big sanctioning fee for an optional defense.

Since this is the case, GGG can either make tough fights for himself or choose easy opponents with no risk. He is choosing the latter.

Better to fight often while waiting for an opportunity than sit around doing nothing dont you think?

I'm not talking about Geale and Murray. Those were good wins. But fights like Willie Monroe and Adama are unacceptable. If that's the type of opponent that he is going to fight until he finally gets his golden ticket than that would be a great waste of prime talent.

Think about that-HBO may not approve a world class JMW for GGG to fight at 160 and instead have him fight an opponent who has a far less chance of defeating GGG.

you're comparing a huge welterweight naturalising into junior middleweight to an average middleweight being forced to put himself at a size disadvantage solely because he has been ducked right out of his division. it's not equivalent

and if golovkin had a margarito within his grasp i'm sure he'd jump at the challenge
