Obviously not, Donaire got scared back to 122 and Rigo has no intentions of moving up. If people imply that Featherweights are "scared" of Rigo (not accusing you of it), I don't understand when the guy doesn't even want to move up and we have to respect that. So Let's not talk about him fighting Featherweights, because they don't have to move down for him.

Obviously not, Donaire got scared back to 122 and Rigo has no intentions of moving up. If people imply that Featherweights are "scared" of Rigo (not accusing you of it), I don't understand when the guy doesn't even want to move up and we have to respect that. Yea true that. Rigo is the most avoided fighter at bantamweight. As for featherweight he is unwilling to move up and has said he will consider a catchweight for the right fight. Loma is better off fighting guys at featherweight to 140 for the forseeable future. I'd like to see Gamboa, of course Walters, Crawford, Mikey and many more throw down with him

Good fights, but let's take things slowly. Lomachenko and Walters have a lot of great fights at 126 and 130 (especially 130), that's the reason I want to see Loma and Walters fight already (unless Marriaga pulls the upset, he'll be in Walter's position), because it doesn't matter who wins or loses, to me personally I want to see these guys fight the other top figthers (that's what it's all about). I think the highest Loma will go might be 140, so the Crawford fight probably won't ever happen. But I would like to see him face Walters, obviously. Other than Walters idk who else he can face at 126. He won't be able to fight the Haymon fighters (Russell, Mares, Santa Cruz, Cuellar) and Selby doesn't sound to keen on facing Walters or Loma just yet and I don't want them to wait for him, they have bigger fish to fry. But at 130 that's where we are talking (they should move up after they fight, but we really don't know Walters and Loma's dreams, for all we know they want to stay at 126 their whole career). You have Uchiyama, Miura, Salido, Martinez, Vargas, and hopefully Gamboa can comeback, beat on Fortuna and then Gamboa could face a Loma or Walters. Gamboa vs Lomachenko would be crazy!!!!!

Rigo has the same problem as GGG. The other champions in his division don't want to fight him.

But GGG is a coward for not moving up, while the guys a division above Rigo are expected to move down to help him out. Strange how that works.

GGG is ~170 in the ring, there are guys that size fighting "lmw" (cough canelo), and there are guys as big as 180 trying to squeeze into 160. Tell Wards 172lb fighting ass to man up and fight Kovalev at 175.

And if Carl Froch wants to get knocked out in front of 80,000 at Wembley I say bring it.

EDIT: I too am confused about how quick people are to defend Rigo's decision to fight only at 122 at all costs.

To be fair, Rigondeaux is already the smaller man in most of his fights at 122. Moving up in weight will make it even worse. You won't find a lot of featherweights under 5'5" unless they are stocky like Russell or Gamboa.

I have yet to see Golovkin at a significant size disadvantage at 160. If he moves up and faces the likes of Ward, Froch or DeGale, he will have to deal with the same physical disadvantages that Rigondeaux is already facing in his current division.
