No just sticking to my principles and calling it like I saw it. I'm a boxing fan first, I don't worship Amir Khan like some other people who call themselves fans.

The fight was draw in my scorecard. I turned down the volume because of the biased commentary. Even the slow motion highlights per round were extremely biased to Khan.

i had it 116-112 for khan but khan was getting hit by those overhand rights too much.

I can't stand when they do that ... HBO is known to do that a lot too. Even a stiff jab in slow motion looks impressive there were rounds where Algeri clearly out worked Khan and they would find a decent punch Khan landed and highlight that. For the casual fan at home watching/scoring they are thinking "well they are showing that punch Khan landed he must've won the round"... I scored for Algeri and by no means was this an easy fight to score it really boils down to what you favor volume or cleaner harder punching coupled with aggression but I feel Algeri made Khan fight his fight ... Which oddly enough isn't even his style... And did the better work.

I mean if Algeri can adopt this style and give Khan fits what is Khan gonna do against a true welter that fights with that style that has some pop? Or even one that doesn't for that matter (Bradley) ... Max says it all the time which guy would you rather be at the end of a fight, that's usually a good indicator of who won... I'd have rather have been Algeri.

This is a case of winning by losing here for Algieri.

He lost the fight, but he won the respect he was looking for. His stock went up with his performance.
