That was his number one secret. And you still cannot compare Armstrong with either Mayweather and Pacquiao because Armstrong was never competing for a $200 million dollar purse. Armstrong made most of his money through endorsements. Mayweather makes most of his money through the fights itself. With one single fight, both Mayweather and Pacquiao had faaaaar more to lose than Armstrong ever did with one single race.
Next, Lance Armstrong was rarely tested for EPO back in his era, especially with today's technology which is waaaaay better. All the lab needs is usually just one sample to catch an athlete. USADA also at that point already had more than 7 prior blood samples from both Mayweather and Pacquiao.
Also, what you fail to realize is the money Lance Armstrong made over the years is all due to his winning. This includes endorsements. If you followed the story, and I think you did, the risk was so high that he knew that if he continued and would get caught, he would lose everything including his endorsements and would even get sued. The Lance Armstrong story is huge. I gave you a very good example of someone willing to risk it all every single time he cheated.
As far as your "technology is better now" statement. Well, like I said before, Lance Armstrong would time when to cheat. He knew when to cheat. For Floyd, and using history as an example, USADA didn't do any blood tests the last 9-11 days before a fight. Heck, when you think about it, most other athletes need to be concerned 365 days a year. Floyd just needs to be careful for about 6-8 weeks.
If the BEFORE test was with urine only to verify what Floyd was taking BEFORE he used the probable masking agent or whatever this substance was, there goes your "technology is better now" statement down the tubes. You need to be applying the better technology for it to be good.

Why was Floyd so severely dehydrated coming into this fight? He was 150 lbs in the 30 day weigh in, and his unofficial weight on the day of the fight was 152 lbs. The guy has never had trouble cutting weight in previous fights, yet for some odd reason he needed a needle and not one, but TWO saline solutions to rehydrate after a mere 3 lb weight cut.
Something doesn't add up.
