Povetkin will get his ass kicked again by Wlad. Wlad knocked him down with an ARM punch in second round, if he landed the same full-power left hook as he did on Pulev, Povetkin would be out for several minutes. In the secons fight Wlad will destroy Povetkin in the first 3 rounds.

        Once, legally.

With a decent referee Povetkin wins via DQ before the 5th round.

Wlad's defence is basically holding ad nauseam, it's not legal.

He got caught a number of times on the way in, but he also smothered his own work (when he did work once he got in which was pretty rare) taking away his only real shot.

He has to fight way more controlled if he wants to beat Wilder, because unlike Wlad-Povetkin he won't get let off the hook if he gets hurt which Wlad did on numerous occasions.

It is a nice contrast if it happens though, but that reach advantage will still be a ***** for Povetkin unless he has a way better plan. He can obvious hurt Wilder if he can find the correct range though, just way easier to say that than do that.
Povetkin has been fighting much better. I feel like with Wlad it was more desperation than anything.
I don't think he will approach Wilder the same reckless way.

Wilder's got that reach and normally Povetkin gets hit a lot it's true.

          Gonna be a great one!

Yeah right. Wilder also tweeted that he was looking forward to fighting Fury in his first defence.

              What happened there?

                Povetkin is criminally underrated.
Of course Wilder vacates -- papa Haymon will make him a nice goldwash PBC belt to be proud of for years...

I honestly think Wilder's team slows him down.

He sounds like he wants it.

He did say though they were in no rush for Wlad. But Povetkin, here's hopin!

I was really upset after that fight. Vitali would have truly beaten Povetkin though IMO. But little bro stands no chance against this Povetkin.
Every time Wlad hit him solid he hurt Povetkin. So in my opinion if Wlad would have fought more he would have easily knocked Povetkin out. Wlad also gets all the blame when Povetkin was himself a bigger part of the problem then he was the solution. Simply because even when Povetkin was on the inside with his hands free he still did absolutely nothing. But who can blame him because he was getting rocked on the outside.
