Froch by stoppage, possibly decision. Before the Monroe fight, I would have picked GGG.

But against Monroe, GGG left himself wide open like a complete idiot. It's not the first time, but it seems he's ****ier and sloppier now. Against a powerful guy, GGG will get hurt.

And GGG definitely IS NOT a 168 pounder in today's world when the weigh-in is not on the same day as the fight.

Im not in the class of guys who completely believe GGG lets guys tee off on him but he does occasionally take a shot to set up a larger one of his own. Noe Froch is crafty enough to keep the fight on the outside and cagey enough to keep Golovkin less effective in close but the KEY to this fight isnt what Froch does right its what he no longer had control of. His Chin. He will eat shots when he exchanges and we all know he hss a tendency to get in to fire fights. I dont see him standing to the power Golovkin brings uts not as if Froch is an enormous SMW anyhow. I have Golovkin stopping Froch in an ugly fight

GGG is infinitely more skilled than Froch.

They will both be very strong. Froch may be an old man, but it doesn't matter in this era, since most of the oldies come in nice and roided up like Froch does, but pretty sure GGG is nice and roided up to, but positive Froch is.

At age 37 you don't come in looking faster, stronger and hitting hard as ever.

Froch likes to jump in completely square, and throw flurries. He can get away with it, because he hits hard, but a skilled operator like GGG is going to beat the shlt out of him when he does this. Still, Froch will have a big size advantage. That alone could change the situation.

I don't think this fight happens. Its intriguing, but its obvious Froch doesn't want a piece of GGG. It would be sweet if it did though.

Froch is a good 6'1" -- he's a lot bigger dude than GGG. Guys lose power going up compared to the competition, and I think it's a huge jump going from 160 to 168.

GGG could pull off the win. He spars bigger guys than Froch (though sparring is totally different), so he should have a good idea of what he's getting himself into. But ultimately he's no SMW.

Part of me thinks this as well. I could see this being a disaster for froch, not because he's garbage but because I've always felt smw is overrated. When you got guys like bika and Abraham holding titles I'm not impressed.

I honestly don't know about this one, I think GGG can beat him to the punch because Froch is slow but Froch has a Chin and he can crack himself. Froch is dropping guys at 168 with that Power so him landing clean on a Middleweight could really do some damage.

I say 50/50 but I think GGG would fight a different fight with Froch because he would have to respect his Power he is not going to just walk through and take Froch Power.

I would love to see it but I lean towards GGG!

Froch will be too big and can take punishment to give it out.

He might get dropped early but I think he would come back and stop GGG.

Froch may be a taller man but he is by no means an imposing SMW in othet words we can both agree if they were to tee off on each other GGG would put his lights out. Golovkin hasnt moved up but I dont see too many things Froch can do to keep him at bay besides the jab oh which he had a decent one. Hes been looking slower on his feet as of late and has been wobbled and dropped recently as well. Froch has pro experience and has fought better competition but had many more miles than GGG. Not to mention Golovkin was no slouch in the amateurs he cuts the ring off better than anyone in boxing right now and has power in both hands. Like I said before he hooks with hookers he will take your best to give his best and I dont think Froch has the power to seriously hurt GGG not to mention his punches tend to swing wide when hes on the inside. Its one of those fights I see being ugly and cagey but ultimately Carl get broken down and either gets stopped or get touched up and loses a split decision.

People are seriously underrating four time world champion Froch, I guarantee you that GGG will not go toe to toe with Froch unless he's ******ed. Being the one completely new to the division, GGG will box and break him down.
