Mayweather vs Kovalev not at all an apt comparison.

It's a no win situation for Floyd if he wins people will discredit it because a mw moved down in weight to fight in a class he has never fought in it will be another Dawson vs ward situation

I still don't get your point though. Mayweather was willing to move up to 154 and take fights a few times over the last several years, and most recently fought Canelo @ catchweight of 152. I'm not sold on the fact that he couldn't make another fight where he fought in 150s. Likewise, GGG and his trainer are willing to take a fight at 154 for Mayweather.

As far as I can see, the two fighters can both make the weight. That to me means that the fight is as fair game as any.

So accordingly to your logic, I don't see any problem on GGG to move up and face Ward or Froch or Kovalev and Pascal at 175.

No that's not according to his logic. Floyd is the reigning, lineal champ at SWW. GGG offered to put himself at a disadvantage and drop down to SWW and contest for Floyd's belts

With the exception of bowing out against GGG,(Can't really be faulted) Monroe shows promise mentally as well as in the ring.
