GGG / Cotto is a greater mismatch and should be illegal due the potential of homicide. GGG/ Alvarez at 154 is pick 'em.
At 156 0r above Golovkin stops Saul.
for which fighter?? lol canelo who fights in spurts and gasses in 3? or for the hall of famer who works the body well and is pretty complete from range as well as on the inside?? o yea the guy who has the faster feet as well and is shorter?

u guys will be highly disappointed if u think canelo walks through cotto

he doesnt give AF about that crown..he wants a name and some money..if there was a money man at 154 or 168 that offered him a shot on ppv vs a purse bid for a vacant 160 mw belt he would take the money shot and say F that belt...

If he can get a contract that the winner has to fight him, he should take it. If not, force Cotto's hand and make him drop the belt or fight.

GGG - Cotto is NOT going to happen, no matter what. I believe the same is true for GGG - Canelo, for now, for a long time is my guess.

Once GGG is unified, he can go on a long run of defending, and every comer who wants to be champ will be forced to face GGG. Canelo, Cotto, those guys don't wanna fight. GGG knows this. So he's doing the smart thing, getting all the belts. Let them vacate and run off like bltches.
If that's the goal props to him. But I seem to think he wants the big name and the world title. Not one or the other.

If Cotto vacates the lineage Quillin is #2 on all the rankings list. So it would have to be GGG vs Quillin to create a new lineage. But Quillin is delusional.

Dibella forced the council to take a vote on it, and it was voted unanimously that Martinez would be next. A week later, they showed footage of Sulaiman holding a press conference saying Martinez would get a shot only after Chavez makes his next defence. There was no step aside deal.

              Good luck with that, Golovkin.
I have more faith in the WBC here because they violated their own rule to let Golovkin become the mandatory.

Take the money GGG. cotto aint fighting you ever no matter what so at least get paid.

Take the money, and hope that Geale or Canelo beats Cotto, because they will actually fight

Golovkin wants the title. He would rather win it in the ring, but he is also very tired of being overlooked and ducked. It happened in Germany and he will not allow it to happen again. They put the WBC on public notice last night by forcing their hand to admit publicly once again that GGG is the mandatory to Cotto and the winner of Cotto-Geale MUST face him or vacate or they can negotiate a deal with GGG. And GGG does not seem to be in a negotiating mood.

Also it says something that neither Cotto nor Canelo are willing to sign a guarantee that the winner would fight GGG next. I thought these guys were supposed to be champions, they are supposed to be afraid of no man in the ring. But they are unwilling to sign a piece of paper. So much for them. Fight or vacate. I am sure that Geale will give it another shot if he beats Cotto.

Quillin is not even a factor and will never face GGG in the ring.

What rule did they violate? GGG beat Rubio to win the interim title which carries mandatory status with it.

The title is worth more than whatever money Cotto is offering to step aside. It will enable GGG to get other unification fights and eventually he will be the only champion at MW. So if anyone wants to win a title, they will have to go through GGG. Cotto is irrelevant. Once he drops the title, or if Geale beats him, he will go back to 154 where he belongs, never to be seen against a MW again.
