what about the names under him that he wont fight? lets not act like ggg is a Z if rank popularity from a-z...he just 12k butts in the seat..that makes him A side to 95% of the boxers out...
i dont say this as a hater of ggg...just as a guy who wants to see him fight the best from 154-168, being that 160 is pretty much a 4th grade elementary class with a bully who flunked twice in it

Too Risky. No $$$ in it.

Not sure what Clottey's rank is. He's a verteran with a lot of experience, but doesn't have a good fan base. He could spoil the party or expose someone in the process at the least.

$$$ men would be nervous about it. Lol

            :ANYWORD:

In the Maravilla documentary, there was this great passionate scene in the WBC convention where Dibella went all out on Sulaiman for not letting Martinez fight for the WBC belt, even though there was a signed contractual promise that Martinez would get an immediate shot at the WBC belt after it was vacated for the Dzi fight. Dibella forced the council to take a vote on it, and it was voted unanimously that Martinez would be next. A week later, they showed footage of Sulaiman holding a press conference saying Martinez would get a shot only after Chavez makes his next defence. There was no step aside deal.

                  Good luck with that, Golovkin.

                    Doesn't matter.

GGG's only play is unifying the belts, and then making anyone who wants a belt have to come through him.

GGG - Cotto is NOT going to happen, no matter what. I believe the same is true for GGG - Canelo, for now, for a long time is my guess.

Once GGG is unified, he can go on a long run of defending, and every comer who wants to be champ will be forced to face GGG. Canelo, Cotto, those guys don't wanna fight. GGG knows this. So he's doing the smart thing, getting all the belts. Let them vacate and run off like bltches.

                      Alvarez/ Cotto is a mismatch.
GGG / Cotto is a greater mismatch and should be illegal due the potential of homicide. GGG/ Alvarez at 154 is pick 'em.
At 156 0r above Golovkin stops Saul.
