Ggg has a lot of momentum right now, and his punching power is a game-changer, but i'd still favor ward in that fight, he's the bigger man, more technically sound, and has deceptive punching power.

Golovkin vs Ward would be like 4-5lbs apart on fight night. Ward vs Kovalev would be 10lbs apart.

GGG vs Ward is one of the fairest fights, weight-size, that can happen in boxing today other than Mayweather vs Pacquiao II. Kovalev came in at 189lbs in his last 2 fights.
Let's wait and see what Andre Ward weighs in at fight night against Smith. If it's well over 180, like 185 or something, I don't think GGG should be obligated to fight him.

Floyds a 39 yr old WW go at 147 , and at 154 Floyd would probably beat him but at his age and stage of his career its a lame challenge from GGG .

If you were consistent you would be credible but seeing as Manny cant even fight a WW after holding a 154 belt and you were fine with all that and then GGG cant fight at 168 because he is MW you are fine with all that , its just obvious that your mindset with Floyd is pure BS and you are probably the biggest proven idiot on the site .

Who's got the chin and the nonstop offense to beat GGG at 160? Easier said than done.

Cotto may still have both...but he's not really a 160.

Canelo is close enough in weight but he doesn't have "nonstop offense."

That won't apply to Ward though. We all know that.

If Ward was a regular 160 pounder then it's not as easy to call but the size factor is...a factor

At least Manny dropped the 154 belt since he couldn't defend it. Apparently Floyd will drop it soon too, but until he does, he's still the champ at 154.

Floyd is dropping all his belts and looking at a farewell fight after a great career , I would have liked to see the Floyd that fought Oscar fight GGG but he is too far gone to be giving so much weight away to young elite fighters , its unreasonable to expect it as Floyd has slipped a mile from his best form .
