Not a lot more to say.....Amir used to get in there and make a name for himself but with recent swerves and his reluctance to fight anyone with a chance of beating him it has all become very hard to get behind him , he said he wanted to fight all the top welterweights and now he is fighting a career light welterweight who he is 22/1 to beat.
Either he or his team obviously think he is not up to the task, there is no other way to look at it. He is wasting his career and letting down the people who support him........Chris Algieri "a class 'A' opponent" , he might be to Amir but boxing people know Chris is far from that !

If you look at the recent opp of both, Khans the underdog here. Surprisingly, Algieris been competing at a higher level than Khan. This is actually a step up for Khan..sad to say
