Comments Thread For: Khan: I Won't Chase After Mayweather Like I Used To

British star Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) told BBC Radio that there is 'more than a 50 percent chance' of him fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs) on September 12th.

Mayweather, holder of the WBO/WBA/WBC welterweight titles, has promised to return in the fall after winning a twelve round unanimous decision over Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd.

Khan is deep in training camp as he returns at the end of the month, on May 29th, against former WBO junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri in a Premier Boxing Champions headliner from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Khans always been good for a laugh. What I can't stand about Khan is he's not hungry. This guys has been on the verge of a Mayweather fight for 2 years. And he lets all these fighters steal it right from under him. I dont understand why he just doesnt take on the baddest dude out there and earn his shot the right way. Instead he fights a JWW thats been down 9 times in his past 2 fights.

No shame in chasing him. Everyone does.
Hell I remember Guerrero did for like a year, until he got his paycheck.
