Upon rewatch I'm not mad at people that thought Pac won five rounds. Fight was more competitive than billed. Pac just wasn't getting credit unless he was throwing a big combination. Pac strategy apparently wasn't to beat Floyd by KO or volume. It was to counter and pot shot Floyd. Not a recipe for excitement to be sure, but I can't think of a fighter in recent years who has been able to counter and pot shot Floyd the way Pac did. Announcement team really dropped the ball In their craving for excitement. Finito.

Seriously. Everyone wanted Pac to throw a combo or otherwise not acknowledge anything he was doing. No one talked about him blocking with his gloves, no one mentioned how many of his landed punches were counters, everyone wanted to see who fought more similarly to their prime selves.

I ain't trippin tho, Pac lost. But the commentary (I didn't hear the first time because I was in a loud crowded bar, but heard on replay) was disappointing.

For the next press conference, they'll sell the rematch a little harder and bring Manny out like this ..

I don't know, man. Post-fight saying how he thought he won, then going along with the shoulder thing, even if Iole talked about it first. Just rubbed many people the wrong way.

He said he was told by the NSAC after the fight. He approached them and asked after Arum made a strange comment or something to him after the fight.
