I think it was Bob Arum who put that bug in Manny's ear because Manny didn't say anything about it post fight with Kellerman and Max gave him an opportunity to say it when he asked why didn't he throw punches like usual. Also at the post fight presser when Manny said his best wasn't good enough. Only Arum brought it up, then running with it. Arum didn't want Manny's fake aura of him being invincibile to be tarnished by how he looked against Mayweather. Crazy the type of circus Top Rank be running in the boxing of boxing. No rematch because it will never do as much as the first fight did and that would be a bad look for the record they set. Plus no one believes Manny can beat Mayweather after May 2nd anyways.

Upon rewatch I'm not mad at people that thought Pac won five rounds. Fight was more competitive than billed. Pac just wasn't getting credit unless he was throwing a big combination. Pac strategy apparently wasn't to beat Floyd by KO or volume. It was to counter and pot shot Floyd. Not a recipe for excitement to be sure, but I can't think of a fighter in recent years who has been able to counter and pot shot Floyd the way Pac did. manny excusiao injured his shoulder 3 weeks before the fight, check marked the pre-fight paperwork, re aggravate it in the 3rd , threw multiple right hook body shots in the 4th which was his best round, threw right hands the rest of the fight , lost and used it as his excuse. sore loser sore loser

There is no shame to Bob Arum hype job. I mean, come on, you're really making this once proud man look like a hypocrite, and puppet. His people cannot believe what Bob is trying to sell them.

You're a congressman that has to make tough decisions. You shouldn't allow someone to pull your strings like this. Your people would respect you more if you would have admitted defeat. What happen to the Philippine Pride Bob was discussing during the press conference.

I agree with the sore loser part. I can understand if he thought he won the fight if he thought he was landing more than Floyd was but the shoulder should have been kept quiet. Get the surgery, show up with the cast, nothing had to be said and he would have kept alot of respect.

Pacquiao didn't bring up the shoulder injury, I believe it was Kevin Iole who asked him about it. Better question is how did Iole know.

But the poor sportsmanship and excuses coming from Manny and his team is kind of a joke.

Every day that shoulder gets worse . 1st it wasn't noticable after the fight , then it was a basic sling , Now it looks like his shoulder was ripped to shreds with that cast on . I don't know what they'll pull out next maybe a full upper body cast or something. So Sad anything to save face.
