He obviously understands that Pac did not have the heart or will to win, even in adversity (like Mayweather). So how he relates Floyd's victory to Pac's loss is irrelevant to his entire agenda.

Floyd needs to make up for a poor first fight with Pac, and wait for Pac to get healthy. Pac will try not keep Floyd too long though, as he knows Floyd want to retire for real this time
Floyd is full of **** when he said that, and you know why he said that because he was forced to fight that way and he didn't look great or dominated.

Both Cotto and Maidana can fight on the inside and they close the gap very well when they fought Floyd. So people that buy into that excuse that he wanted to "please the fans", well, they are not very bright. If that’s the case he would’ve fought like that in his two most hyped events against DLH and Pacquiao.

I personally thought Cotto outlanded Floyd in 5 out of the 12 rounds, so I think Floyd won that fight 7-5.

In the first Maidana fight I thought Maidana outlanded Floyd in 7 out of the 12 rounds, so I think Maidana won that fight 7-5. I'm being honest, I'm not talking ****.

So I think Cotto and Maidana (I know he fought Floyd twice) deserve a rematch A LOT MORE than Pacquiao.

I always thought May vs Pac was goin to be a boring fight. This isn't the same Pac that fought six years ago. That guy threw a 100 punches per round with the same speed and power and didn't get tired. Now he takes long breaks during rounds, he doesn't throw a lot of punches and whether or not you think he was on PED's (I believe he was) he had that extra level of speed and power that he doesn't have now.

Add that to the fact that Pacquiao needs distance to connect his punches, he doesn't fight on the inside at all, he doesn't throw a lot of punches to the body, plus he's the smaller fighter and you got the result of last Saturday. So basically Floyd had every advantage goin into the fight.

May vs Pac fight had more meaning for their legacies and was more competitive six years ago. I'm not saying Floyd wins or Pacquiao wins in their primes but it was more of a 50/50 fight.

If and when a rematch occurs, Floyd will win in more dominate fashion. Then the excuse you will hear from Pacquiao fans will be, " If Manny would have took a tune up fight first he would have been sharper and beat Floyd". Or you will hear them say, "Floyd is a cherry picker and he knew by fighting Manny fresh off the surgery and rehab he would be rusty". Unless Manny beats Floyd his fans will always make some kind of excuse as to why he loss. These folks are out of touch with reality and don't know the meaning of sportsmanship.

By the way, had Manny put on the performance Floyd did on 05/2/15, his movement would have been called Boxing by his fans. But since it was Floyd controlling the pace, space , and movement they call it running.

Also, with Manny having his shoulder repaired via an outpatient procedure, the tear could not have been as severe as they are making it out to be. I happen to have the pleasure of being in the operating room while in college to see a person have their rotator cuff repaired ( I was standing 3 feet away from the surgeon). It starts with a scope then the shoulder area is opened up and the work begins. This surgery requires an over night stay in the hospital.

Bob Arum, Freddie Roach, and Manny Pacquiao are full of S. H. I. T.

Pacquiao has been eating right hands since he was fighting for peanuts in the Philippines. I didn't really need this fight to prove who was better. The guy is an amateur and Floyd sniped him all night. It was pretty embarrassing knowing people actually held this guy on the same level.

I don't care for a rematch in honesty, but I think it will happen. Floyd says he'll retire in September but he's probably saying that so he can bait the networks into competint to offer him the best money for his 50th fight, and even though many think it's been settled Pac would be his best fight financially, even if it sells a third of what last weekend does. The media will just spout some bull**** that a lot of casuals will buy into.

No matter how much and how many times Pacquiao lies he knows what went down and it is burning him deep to get schooled like that after believing his own hype.
