lol,,I actually had a dream that byrd stopped wlad. that would be absolutely embarrassing considering the size and strength advantage wlad has over byrd. if wlad punches himself out ala brewster anything can happen. very difficult to take any type of punch when your totally gassed. go hit a heavy bag for 5 minutes straight till you have nothing left and then imagine someone thorwing punches at you. very unpleasant feeling. this is byrds only chance against wlad

lol,,,cracks me up how the wlad haters blame him for no rematch. don king and brewster would never take the rematch after the beating he had to take the first time around. much too risky. instead theyre fighting the bums of the world like krasissy and lyakobum

Maybe Klitschko had a panic attack ... I don't know. Were Golota and Krasniqi drugged, too? I mean they couldn't take the left hooks, either.
after seeing the 248 lb golota and krasnigui get floored and almost put through the mat with the left hook,,,in retrospect Im actually pretty impressed that wlad stayed on his feet and this was a totally gassed wlad at that point. and that left hook was just as clean as the ones taken by krasniqui and golota

wrong,,,,byrd chose wlad and brewster and king continue to take the easy road by avoiding tops dogs like wlad and fighting bums,,,so the one dimensional brewster can hold onto his belt a little while longer

Do you really discredit Chris Byrd that much?

Wlad should take Byrd very seriously. Only then he can win.
Other than good training, Wlad has nothing else to worry. He has tested his chin in his figth with Peter, and his chin is fine. All he needs now is to be as careful and smart as his brother was.

I hate to disagree but his chin isnt fine. It's not as weak as everyone says, but it is not FINE, its on the weak side.

I think it is ok; fine may not be the right word. Sam Peter would have knocked down ANYONE with his powerfull rabbit punches.

obviously Im a wlad fan..but have to disagree with his chin being ok. it clearly isnt. he shouldnt have gone down from those shots from peter and he also shouldnt have gone down from williamson and so easily from corrie sanders. his chin is below avrage but he does have enough natural boxing skills and power to become champ again and unify but it will continue to be a nerve racking thing watching him against a good puncher and all the top guys do have a good punchers chance against him,,but I would make him a favorite against anyone in the division right now as long as he fights cautiosly as he did against peter and doesnt blow his wad again

ive never seen odds drop anywhere near that much in all the time ive been betting on boxing. maybe the closest i have seen is a fight that goes from 6-1 down to 4-1 and even that happened over the course of two weeks. there is no way to explain odds plummeting that much before a fight without funny business
