Thats why they gotta be honest with themselves...do they really wanna see Pac get beat TWICE? Can they handle that?

No true boxing fan wants to see him outclass pacquiao again..and then the whole after fight drama with the "humble congressman" and his whole mentally unstable corrupted team...well it would be an easy payday for floyd again..can't blame him for wanting an easy retirement fight

Honestly, given the snooze fest people shelled out $$ for the first time, I would not be disappointed if the second fight resulted in pac getting knocked out. I would be upset of course because I'll be rooting for Pacquiao, but I'll be much more excited that I was there to witness that fight if something like that happened. Heck even a knock down will make me feel better about the cover I paid to watch this.

Ain't really no other place for either man to go. We know the once that contract expires he's either going to have to go at it alone if he continues to fight or take lower guarantees from either network, there really isn't another carrot to dangle in negotiations. Hell he'd actually make more money if they eliminate the networks and just negotiated with the cable providers directly. I will say the fight did not live up to the hype and tons of folks who wanted to see it live still feel slighted, I think the latter aspect being the principal issue.

I'm surprised at how many ppl wanna see a rematch tho. It probably won't happen tho. I don't think Arum and Co really want one. They'll take their excuse and move on elsewhere.

I will say this, Floyd has more leverage now.

a rematch would prove nothing becuz the most likely outcome would be Manny losing again. Even if his shoulder was hurt it doesn't take away from the fact that he fought flat footed because his great footwork was neutralized by Floyd hitting his face with the right hand and jabs. some of you guys have to remember, Manny was counting on Mayweather having shot legs.
