I think people just want to an excuse to hate on Pacquiao. It was already said before the fight Pacquiao didn't train for a week and some people thought it might have been an injury.

Now that an injury is mentioned, suddenly it's an "excuse"? Come on people!

Excuses excuses. Manny certainly didn't look injured in the fight. I've had a torn shoulder which I got from boxing and I know it's either bad enough that I can't train or it's good enough that I can train/fight but I only notice the effects after the fight if I happened to injure it cuz u don't feel that **** when ur warmed up and have adrenaline pumping.

Besides Manny's right hand had nothing to do with his inability to stop Mayweather from picking his shots, or cutting off the ring, or making the slightest adjustment or knowing how to deal with Floyd's speed and reflexes without becoming hesitant and unsure of how to attack without being countered with the check left hook or the straight right. Manny and roach were simply unprepared for something they already knew they'd have to deal with for the last 5 years...no excuses

Major kudos to Teddy Atlas. I've gained a lot of respect for him. He is a very fair and honest man.

Well said IronDan. Yeah, sad to see the lack of grace and humility from Pacquaio after the fight. No credit given to Mayweather. Actually, Floyd has shown a lot of class before n after the fight, tho Pacquaio is supposed to be the "good guy".

I usually don't agree with Teddy, and honestly just don't like him and 95% of what he has to say about the sport in general cause he seems like a scared punk with little-man syndrome sometimes but this I agree with him on. He makes a great point about this fight Pac was hesitant to engage, whether it was cause of Floyd's right hand I would debate, but point is, Pac wouldn't engage and his lack of activity cost him the fight and yes, to other posters, his true fans are disappointed cause they were expecting explosions and bombs but got sparklers and fizzers instead... just sad...

Agreed. Whether his shoulder is as bad as they are making it out to be (fighting with ONE arm), that isn't Mayweather's problem. Their job is to show up and fight. Mayweather did. Pacman was throwing combinations even after they said the shoulder pain came back. Before that, Floyd was still elusive and keeping Manny at a distance. I don't believe the outcome would be any different.

Team Manny talked a lot and are left trying to coax a rematch. I think it would be a very hard sell, but could see it happening with Team Manny playing up they weren't 100% and that's why the fire and punch output wasn't there. Team Mayweather taking the road as the champion willing to give the bitter challenger another chance to cap off his career.

His excuses for losing are getting longer than his excuses on why he shouldnt be tested randomly back in 2010.
