His shoulder started giving him problems in 2009, probably not too serious since this is the first time we've heard about it. He injured it three weeks ago and had an MRI done and it was a torn rotator cuff. Doctor told him it would take 30-40 days to heal. He thought about postponing the fight but then they figured if he doesn't use it, it might be ok for the fight. That's why they stopped sparring. He said they(nsac?) knew about the injury and meds that he was using and it was approved.

At the fight they brought the Dr with the shot in the dressing room but he wasn't allowed to do it because they said they weren't informed ahead of time, he said again that they knew ahead of time and he believes Mayweather's camp also knew about the injury because he would clinch and pull and twist on the right arm.

He said at the start of the fight the shoulder was about 50-60%. Then he said when he had Floyd in the ropes and was throwing his combos, he hurt it more and it was painful that's why he pulled back. It must be the 4th when he threw a right uppercut that missed.

He said he will have surgery to get it fixed.

I don't believe it at all because if he had shoulder issues then he would have showed it all through the fight. I remembered seeing him step back from Mayweather when he was throwing the combos when he was on the ropes but that could have been when he got the injury OR discouraged because he wasn't effective. He was throwing wild punches but before he backed off of Floyd he was not showing any signs of injury or shoulder problems.

Not to mention he stated along with Roach that they would beat Floyd so why would an injured man state that he was in terrific shape? It is their fault that they tried to play it off. I saw boxers fight with one arm and still win. Pacquiao is just embarrassed on the way he lost. He was not fighting like a man who had an injury AND I guarantee no paper work will come out of this. The NSAC has rules and from what they said Pacquiao and his team did not follow procedures correctly but wanted the shot. He lost and everyone saw his ass get shut down.

I remember them "being ready" if Mayweather ran.

        Apparently not.

I had Manny up the first half the fight. The last half was evenly fought except I felt Floyd stole a couple of rounds by way of a few more effective punches.

Had that later round which MAnny stunned Floyd heavily at the start by then let Floyd get him back later on in been different and Manny continued to rally it for himself...

I would have had the fight a draw!

Truly one of the worst displays of sportsmanship since my boy Donaire lost to Rigo, it's disgusting and hope someone is feeding him this horse shyt, I really am having a tough time believing that Manny is this gullible.

I would like to see a rematch, especially if Pac was fighting with an injury.

Floyd won clearly, but the fact of the matter is that a Pac fight is still the biggest fight for Floyd (and Manny) for his last fight. A rematch with Manny would end his career with the highest possible pay day.

Pac fought so ******, tbh. He bum rushed Floyd in straight lines all night and let Floyd dictate the pace all night. That was a terrible night for Roach, I have no idea what he was thinking. FLOYD neutralized Pac, of course, and played a major part in this..... but Roach/Pac made absolutely no adjustments, they fought as if they were fighting Rios.

There was absolutely no footwork from Pac, he threw combinations in spurts and there were far too little, and his approach to getting inside of Floyd's defense was lazy and sloppy. In a rematch I still pick Floyd, but there's NO way Pac could do any worse then he did Saturday night. Roach will have to work on Manny coming in at different angles and MAKE SURE that Pac throws far more combos then just doing it every other round or so.

Maybe it's Pacs age, or a terrible gameplan/night by Roach, or maybe it's the injury, and Floyd was better, Floyd IS better..... But the way they approached that fight was just awful and they basically minimized their (Pacs) chances of winning by fighting Floyd like he was a punching bag (Rios)

Pac's work rate was disasterous... Under an average of 36 punches thrown per round.

                      1) that's not manny's style. He "closes the show". He's never taken his foot off the proverbial pedal for the last 2 rounds of a fight. Besides this is the biggest fight of your career why would you do that? Even Floyd, who thinks safety first, stayed on until the last 10 secs of the round. Cmon son.

                      2) roach told him in the corner heading into the 12th he needed to throw more combinations. That doesn't sound like playing it safe instructions to me.

                      Cmon pacman don't do this.
