Why am I not surprised this isn't already 15 pages of how "Kovalev is a duck quack quack?"

So you don'øt think they really wanted the fight?

Haymon tried at most to further hurt HBO... I find no brainer here... Haymon doesn't give a shit about this fight.

Reason being it's clearly not an issue. Neither side cared about it because it wasn't a problem. Period. U still making excuses? Now who's on the defense force?

            Why?
In Gym's letter, Yvon said he heard Duva say Kovalev's HBO contract expired after the Pascal fight, and he wanted the bid to go through before Kovalev signed a new HBO contract.

Is there a precedent for making a pursebid happen some 6-9 months before the fight is to happen and with interim fights scheduled? Wouldn't it be more sensible to have the bid after those interim fights?

Kovalev saw Stevenson getting floored by Fonfara and taken the distance by Bika and he thought, "Whoa .... I'm not fighting him."

Apparantly, that's what some people believe.

Nope... They don't give a shit about the pimp... They're simply on Haymon's pay roll...

Yeah. He said he did that instead of calling Duva because of the past history between them.

Purse bids usually happen after negotiations break down, not before they begin!

Fighters became complacent when they reach the top after paying a few dues. They stop giving ****s about fighting the best even when they're favored. We just learned Kovalev chose long term job security with HBO over risking fighting the best. This is undeniable fact.
