Golovkin landed 292 of 816 punches for an 36 percent connect percentage, according to HBO***8217;s punch stats. For his part, Murray connected on 131 of 469 punches for 28 percent connect percentage. So Murray landed 11.9 punches per round. GGG landed 26.54. Yeah, Murray really showed everyone how easy GGG can be hit.

By the way... Murray's average is 16.7, the middleweight average is 17.4 and Golovkin's average is 27.1 punches landed per round. In case you can't understand the numbers that are in front of your eyes, that means GGG dominates the division by quite a margin.

America still doesn't care much about boxing, boxing have its core fans and a few casuals who jump on the bandwagon for big fights but for the most part America is not out to "TAKE BOXING BACK"

In fact for the most part America doesn't give a **** about Nationality until the Olympics Roll Around! Conner McGregor is not American but that guy is a Rock Star in the MMA right now because of his STYLE and yes the Trash Talking which Americans Love or Love To Hate.

Duran, Chavez Sr, Pacquiao, Lennox Lewis just to name a few, these guys wasn't from the US but came here and made a TON of Money and was a Draw here in the US. No other country can say that, most Countries to stick behind their own but in America fans tend to go for who they LIKE and it is not about "Countryman Pride".

So no America is not out to "Take Back Boxing" because it never left, in order to take Boxing from America you country would have to produce All Time Greats and some fighters that are just as good if not better than: Ali, Ray Robinson, Henry Armstrong, Ray Leonard just to name a very few, for your country to claim that "WE HAVE TAKEN OVER BOXING". 1 or 2 guys scoring KO's against Decent Fighters doesn't mean your Country has "TAKEN OVER BOXING"
