    MASSIVE.

After we were robbed of Juanma vs Gamboa, (because Bob wanted to let it marinate) I was no longer a fan of "building up" a fight when it already makes perfect sense.

It doesnt get ANY bigger than it is now, It has no chance of becoming a unification, so many of the fighters Khan could face to make the fight bigger will already be signed on for other fights while Khan is fasting, and once hes done fasting, Khan is just going to sit out the rest of the year and start his whole Mayweather/Pacquiao crusade for May once again

Thats why we are saying it should happen NOW. Defeating Brook in the summer would have made him the favorite to get the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight next May, but instead he ducked, and he'll fight before taking his break, and once the Mayweather/Pacquiao winner is ready to return next May, he will get delusional again and dismiss Brook in hopes of securing the "big fight" and he wont get it, thus the cycle continues

Do you really think Khan was the reason that the Broner fight didn't happen?

      Frankie Gavin? Shut up

Bradley sat out for months and then fought Casamayor actually.

And that was when there was an actual deal and contract on the table.

What Khan has declined is to start a drawn out negotiation

Frankie Gavin being a better option than Algeri? Have u been smoking joints mixed with Ketamine again? LMAO

Ur pulling out all of these names like Thurmann, Madiana, why doesnt Brook take them on? he was suppose to fight all of these big names and ends up fighting Chaves LOL
Do you have a source for that? Frankie Gavin is ranked in the top 15 in the world and top 5 with some bodies. Algieri is neither. Also, Frankie Gavin has a huge network behind him - Something neither Khan or Algieri has. So yes, it would make more sense. Certainly financial sense.

Which just shows how ridiculous this crap fight is.

We're talking about Khan and you immediately pull up the girly "why doesn't Brook fight them" excuse?

Brook has made it clear he wants Khan. If not Khan he's said he's willing to fight Rios, Marquez or Thurman. Eddie Hearn even said he had chats to Haymon about it - but they want to keep Thurman in the US and obviously Brook is a UK fighter right now.

But Thurman said he'd take it. So did Porter, who you left out? These aren't even expensive guys either. Porter's best payday was less than $1million which is less than what Algieri's best payday is. Both of them could be made.

I don't know why the Broner fight didn't happen, but my guess is that Khan already had Algieri in his mind.

He won't be fighting Chaves for sure. If he has two fights this summer ( which he probably will), I could see them being against josesito lopez and Brandon Rios - if they can't get Marquez.

Lopez is a crap fight but it's still as good as Algieri if not better.

Josecito Lopez and Chris Algeiri are the same. Both making a career off a fluke win

Thurman said he wants Khan but the fact that he looked like a panda whilst saying it suggests he wouldn't have been ready for May. I don't really know about Porter's situation. He was supposed to fight Garcia who pulled out - would he have gone straight in with Khan off fighting a bum? More importantly - would Haymon have let him? Well all knew Haymon wasn't putting Broner in with Khan. Come on now.

Algieri is a former World Champion who was guaranteed a shot back at his belt. Just came off of challenging Pacquiao. What was Gavin's last opponents' surname worth in scrabble?

Gavin hasn't even boxed for the World title let alone win one, yet you're here talking about "rankings" and how it makes him a better fight than Algieri.

Algeiri is not Lopez bad, at least not yet

Lopez shud just hang up the gloves
