All i've heard him say was Mayweather or Pacquiao - fully knowing they are fighting against each other. He mentioned Cotto too, but everyone knows that was never going to happen.

lol why? One is a world champion the other is an established world titlist previously and a big name. It needs to happen now.
Only reason I'd say it should happen now is yes it makes sense money wise. Also there is a good chance one these two would take a loss with one having extreme vulnerabilities in the chin area and the other being very unproven. Also yea I take that back it should happen now. These guys would be a great duo for a trilogy

Im just not as optimistic as some of you are about Brook vs Khan happening. I stand by my comments that Khan refuses to entertain the idea of losing to his domestic/career rival. Same reasoning I felt Mayweather hesitated for years on Pacquiao, Its not the belief of not being able to win, its the THOUGHT of losing to your rival. Khan wouldnt be able to live it down because of all the trash talking he did when he was hot, before the losses, and Brook was a nobody.

The funny part is that I think Khan would have his way with Brook. 9 rounds to 3.

He's not known outside of his little circle, lets not talk as if Brook is some kind of household name.
Not really. His last two fights have been on showtime - a network that's declining to show Khan's next pathetic fight. He's doing great ratings on Sky and is on the verge of being a PPV fighter in the UK, something Khan isn't.

He's made it clear he doesn't want the Brook fight but he's been crying out for the Bradley fight.

The only reason he's pulled out of this IBF situation is the timing of it
No? I'm not denying it's true but I haven't heard it.

Has he made legitimate attempts to make the fight recently?

He pulled out (declined) because he knows that he ran his mouth and it was about to be kicked shut. He saw what Pac did to Algieri and he thinks he is on Pac's level, the sad thing is that he isn't. I wouldn't be all that surprised if Algieri puts a lesson on Con.

Because he'd already agreed a fight you idiot. He can't enter a negotiation with Top Rank NOW when there's no guarantee or date when the fight would be agreed. Ramadan is at the start of June.

Algieri doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell against Khan.

Khan has said in literally every interview "No" to Brook but "Yes" to Bradley, Marquez or Cotto since Mayweather-Pacquiao got signed.

Bradley's camp have said jack **** in response. They didn't want to fight Amir Khan and never have.

Ok can you post an example?

Once again, don't know if it's true or false, but I haven't heard it.

But also, one thing is interviews etc, another is to actually make a fight happen. If he was keen on one of those three why fight Algieri? Algieri is not even a top 20 WW or even a top 5 LWW.

It's such a disgraceful fight it's almost hard to believe.

On the "verge" of being a PPV, meaning he isnt a PPV fighter

He defeated one of the better up and coming American fighters in Porter, to capture a world title, on Showtime, and followed it up with an impressive win over his ordered mandatory. Thats better than everything Khans done the past 3 years.. so Brook is trending up, and Khan is in the opposite direction, Its like hes a prospect again.

Yeah, Khan is much more known in the states, He was knocked out before he even made his state wide televised debut, When we all first saw Khan, yeah we knew who he was, but we ALWAYS knew him as glass jaw Khan, not some up and coming superstar, because his 1st round KO loss was out first impression of him over here. so lets not pretend Khans this hot shot in the states.... Which doesnt even matter, Its for the UK. My point is theres way more than enough interest for this fight even across the pond, he doesnt have to be a household name
