Comments Thread For: Khan: Algieri is A-Class Opponent, I Want it at Barclays

As previously reported, former WBO junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri (20-1, 8KOs) was announced as the next opponent for British superstar Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs). Khan personally revealed that he's fighting Algieri next.

The fight is going to take place on May 23rd or May 30th. And Khan states the fight is going to head to Algieri's backyard of New York City. Khan has not fought in New York since making his American debut with a TKO win over Brooklyn fighter Paulie Malignaggi in 2010. That fight was held in Madison Square Garden in Manhattan. Khan wants the Algieri fight at the Barclays Center located in Brooklyn. [Click Here To Read More]

Fight Brook, not a guy who just got completely schooled by the person whose jockstrap you're trying to hold.
