he sure doesnt act like it when being asked about ali....

making comments like how he will never be pushed into fights he doesnt want to fight because he doesnt want to end up like ali and them. and then he continues on talking about how if ali can go back now he prolly wont take all those fights.

Oh, they've been friends for years you say? Guess that explains why he picked who he picked.

Yes. It was after the Maidana fight. Ali tweeted something along the lines about how now its time for Floyd to fight Pacquiao. Floyd got pissed and blocked him.

Tell me Floyd didn't block Muhammed Ali on twitter...if that's true it's fckin hilarious.

Ali probably caught that "what has Africa done for Floyd Mayweather?" line and decided fk this guy.

          Laila Ali:

"My dad stood for things. Mayweather ... I don't think there's a comparison."

Not everyone likes Rousey you know, but she does seem pretty down to earth in interviews which is probably why she isn't hated like Floyd.

They are two separate things evol. from an early age he talked about ali being someone he admired.

Talking about Ali's physical ailments resulting from how he fought and the fact he was almost broke (before he sold the rights to his name for the clothing line) as reasons for why he handles his business the way he does is something totally different.

Did you high five yourself and do a victory dance when floyd blocked him on twitter?

dunn, respectfully u dont bring up shiiet like that to use as a reason why u are not fighting fighters the people is asking. what kinda shiiet is that??? i can understand if the interviewer asked floyd what he thinks regarding ali's health, etc. BUT no, floyd openly brings ali up when the question has nothing to do with him! floyd was using ali as a reason why he will not be pushed into taking fights he doesnt want. thats some BS!!

Do you recall Ali bringing another woman besides his wife to the Phillipines? Do you recall Ali in Brothels in the Phillipines before the "Thriller in Manilla?" Do you recall Ali calling Malcolm X a traitor, and calling for his death? Do you recall Ali calling Frazier "Black, Ugly, and Ignorant?" I remember both the "Good," and the "Bad." Sad thing is Ali would say, "I did it to promote the fight, it's just business." I can hear Floyd saying something very similar.
