Is Kell Brook now an elite welterweight who can defeat the best?

I'll take Brook over anyone at 147.
I've felt that way for a long time, to me his talent and potential was extremely clear from day one. He's being avoided by the guy everyone wants to see him fight, but there are other good options.

I think he beats Amir Khan right now, but Khan will avoid him.
Brook is ready to take on the best in his division and would even have a good chance of beating aging elite boxers like Pacquiao and Mayweather.
Agree or disagree?

Brook needs to just enjoy his time in the sun. In a couple of years, Errol Spence will be dispatching all of these top guys in the division. As for his status as an elite, that can only come from beating another elite fighter. He needs a big fight to jump to the next level. That won't happen for a while since his next fight will probably be against Paulie Malignaggi.

1. Floyd
2. Pacquiao
3. Bradley...why? still has a better resume than the next few guys. And he did beat Chaves CLEARLY even with 1 eye.
4. Brook... beating Porter is slighty better than beating Guerrero.
5. Thurman... beating Guerrero shows he's legit. Time to step it up even more.
6. Khan.... beating Alexander is a solid win. But now he needs to forget floyd/pac for now and face the best possible opposition
7. Shawn Porter- Still young enough to learn from the Brook defeat.
8. Maidana 2 losses to Floyd. I dont think he can beat any of the opponents above.
9. Diego Chaves
10. Brandon Rios
Outside looking in...
JMM- hasn't done anything since KTFO6 so I took him out of my rankings.
Guerrero- Tough opponent but he's just ordinary at 147
Sadam Ali-
Devon Alexander-

whoever was involved in making that fight should be jailed. brook looked way bigger then the guy who was barely good enough to be a sparring partner, the fight was a disgrace

I think he's good at the weight. I think he's one among many that are currently fighting around 147-154.
A logical next step imo would be Brook vs Thurman or Brook vs Rios, maybe?
