No announcement yet.

Apparently HBO won't host Cotto's next fight unless Canelo is guaranteed next.

He gets $50 million no matter what, it's over a period of time. He got $5 million of it the day he signed. If you want to argue over how much Cotto has or when he gets it, go ahead. I just know it's a lot more than Canelo.

When asked about that $50 million...

"That was a number reported but I talked to Roc Nation officials who laughed and said it was totally incorrect. I tend to believe them. No way is he getting $50M guaranteed for 3 fights"

Because he isn't getting 50 million for 3 fights. He's getting 50 million for 3 fights and promoting things outside of boxing. Read more than just one story...

And I read other stories that stated he was getting 50 million for three fights PLUS more money for other endeavors that could bring the total close to 100 million. So basically the facts are that no one has a damn clue how much the contract is for or exactly what it covers. And unless Roc Nation decide to disclose the terms, we will never know.

                GGG must be pissed off.
                More money of course.

Canelo is such a Diva and a Moron.... first he though he could compete for the 5 May weekend vs top 3 ppv stars. Then he thought he could out negotiate Cotto and goes a pulls out the negotiations. If he would've wait after Floyd's announcement the Cotto fight could have been sign the same week.

Now what he has? Neither. ..nor the Cotto fight and nor the 5 Mayo weekend fight.
