Hall-of-Fame trainer Freddie Roach is crossing his fingers that whoever gets appointed to referee the May 2nd blockbuster will do the right thing and call the fight down the middle.

Roach's fighter, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, will unify his crown against WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. The fight will headline a pay-per-view event from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which is Mayweather's home venue and hometown.

Roach is not worried about the judges - even though Pacquiao felt he was robbed at the same venue when losing a disputed twelve round decision to Timothy Bradley in 2012.

IF anyone has watched Jr before fights and during the fights, then if they were honest they would KNOW

he cheats
he plays to the ref
lately he crys to the ref to get his way

excessive holding is in the hands of the ref. Bayless dropped the ball when he let JR excessively hold against Maidana 2

JRs boys love it when he cheats and gets away with it.

ALL I Want is a FAIR FIGHT and the BEST MAN TO WIN. I believe that best man is Pac , Jr has to prove to me in a fair fight that he is the best. IF YOU don't like that I could give a flying flip !

I can't think of any fair Ref at this time. Pabon is getting my attention lately, he let the fighters fight and stop them when he sees fouls. But I highly doubt that Al Haymon and Floyd will agree to have Pabon officiate that fight. Skip Bayless has refereed lots of Manny and Floyds fights, but he's getting older and his decision making sometimes is not up to par. I hope it'll be Pabon since he is not from Las Vegas.

I thought Pacroid was going to knock Floyd out, so why would Freddie be concerned. Every 3-4 seconds Freddie has a thought & each time it's about Mayweather, the guy is about to bust a vein leading to his heart if he doesn't watch it. Every day there's more & more excuses coming out of Roach's mouth about this fight. Hey Freddie try doing your job as a trainer & leave the ref, judges and business part of the sport to those in their right mind. You are starting to look & act like a guy in serious need of mental medical attention. I hate to see you once Floyd disposes of Pacroid once & for all. I guess they'll need to hire someone to take care of all your daily needs because you'll be in such a depressed state of mind they just might have to lock you up in the crazy ward.
