Disagree. Ward vs Froch is a mediocre draw in the US, decent in Oakland. Its not an Hbo ppv and is beyond Hbos regular budget. So unless Roc is willing to lose major money, not doable in the Us. In the Uk its a stadium fight, and Uk ppv.

Froch, and Hearn, don't want this fight period. If they have to do it, and it has to be UK, fine. But my bet is Roc Nation will be willing to spend good cash to get the US exosure for their new A-Level talent.

Either way, the fight proves nothing. If anything, Froch takes a worse beating. And loses fights vs Chavez Jr and potentially GGG, though I doubt he actually takes the GGG fight.......

IMO the fight only makes money in the UK where Froch is the A side. Even taking 40% Ward still makes more than anywhere else, unless ROC are willing to lose a lot of money. But if they are, not sure why they aren't paying for his tuneups

I'm with Froch.....I'd starve Andre Ward's ass out. I wouldn't let him feed his family on my name if I were Froch. Let Ward fight some no name in Oakland and stay broke.

Froch doesn't want the fight. He's admitted it several times. Ward would fight him tomorrow but just like all other situations, they guy on top calls the shots.

Froch is a big name in England. But in the US, not much bigger than Ward if at all.......Froch wants to cash in on what should be an easy fight with Chavez.

Wouldn't be surprised if he let the strap go. Then he could always come back and fight Kessler for it, whom I believe would jump at picking it up.....

The Froch-Kessler 3 fight hopefully happens before those two are done.

Froch beats either. Only difference is he probably does it more convincingly.

And I guarantee RocNation looked at how Ward's career has been mis-managed to his point and would be willing to lose some money to start getting him front and center. He will be P4P when Floyd is done and every fighter has gotten some miles out of that alone.

I think they know what they're doing.........they'll be willing to lose a lot to make more later. Ward is a long-term investment that will pay off........even if he has to hire an 'unafilliated ****-talker'........lol
