    Reports from San Antonio have confirmed that one-time rising prospect Oscar Diaz passed way on Thursday, at the all-too young age of 32.

        Horrible news. I could never find information on his current condition when I searched. I'll never forget how his last fight ended.

              I remember switching back and fourth between the WNFs and Fox which also had a card with Toney vs. Rahman. I'm glad I missed it live from what you describe.

              When I switched back they were putting him on the stretcher.

                  We need to respect these warriors better than we do on this site. I hope this and all other tragedies teach us that. No matter how much money they are making or NOT in most cases. These are Men and Women to be respected, and revered. They are putting their lives on the line every time they go in there. We should not call any one of them Bum, or coward, or any other negative word out there. I love Boxing, and all of it's combatants. God bless you Oscar, and ALL who step in the Ring.

                    nobody ask them to step in the ring its there choice they know the risk.Many boxers like to hurt people that is reality . is it sad he got hurt really bad yes, I wont knock anybody who doesn't feel pity towards them. There is nothing moral about boxing most would agree with that unless you are one sick blood thirsts person deep down everyone knows this. Men who save lives and change lives for the better are to respected and revered
