pac fight jmm in the phillipines for a million with jmm getting 500k. marquez might do that as he fought chris john for like three bucks years ago. That fights ends up being close so they go on to Pac-JMM 6!
WTF happened to the best man wins? If it ends in a KO (by whoever), so be it. If it goes the distance and one schools the other and it's judged fairly, then it's good. That is a real b---h response - you should really think about how you sound - real emotional, like you and Manny are tight like that, TFOH....don't forget to change your pad regularly, take your Midol & d---he.....

Second time I've seen a terrible comparison.

Were Louis and Marciano the best two fighters P4P when they fought?

      Were Holmes and Ali?

Sounds like you're making an excuse incase Floyd wins. Aren't you one of the people who said Floyd was scared of Pacquaio?

I can already see how this fight is going to be discredited if Floyd does win. Same **** different day.

i don't understand why some ppl try to downplay the fight's significance.

yes pac and floyd are not TBE/GOAT but it's so rare to see the top 2 fighters P4P and 2 HOF/ATG fight each other.

yes it would have been better 2010 but pac/floyd are still top in the game even past prime.

last time something was comparable was back in the 90's.

        chavez-pernell or maybe oscar-trinidad.

            I don't either.

My guess is if their guy loses, they have an excuse ready. "Oh they weren't the same!"

Well yeah, neither are prime, Floyd's 38 and Pac is 36 and both have had long careers spanning 2 decades but the fact of the matter is both are not only the two best of their era, but they're STILL the two best in the world right now.

This is a legitimate super fight. You compared it to Whitaker-Chavez and Oscar-Tito, I've got to disagree, it's even bigger than them. This is more like Ali-Frazier level, A very small percentage of fights that are larger than life. This fight will obliterate all records.

A guy yesterday said its the same level as Ray Leonard-Tommy Hearns 2! How ridiculous is that?

it depends how you rate them ATG status.

i rate tito/oscar very highly. plus i think both were undefeated? p4p top 3? at the time?

pea and chavez was 1-2 p4p for years too. i don't think they had the popularity of pac/floyd though. (chavez had a big mexican following

I don't rate Oscar and Tito highly so I suppose that's where we differ.

Whitaker and Chavez I rate highly and that was a big fight but this is just so much bigger.

i loved oscar and tito. i think theyre sorely underrated.

pea and chavez wasn't as mainstream as pac/floyd so it wasn't as big an event.

THE VIEW (chick tv talk show) did a segment on floyd-pac. before the announcement. espn dan rafael posted the youtube link. crazy.

                  how about duran-leonard 1?

I'm a fan of Tito. Not Oscar.

But I wouldn't consider either ATG's personally whereas I would Floyd and Pac.

Duran-Leonard might not be as big but it's defintely more significant IMO. That's two real legends meeting in their primes.

                      off topic dan.

in the other thread i asked the filipino posters when pac stopped training full time at wildcard.

they said after marg fight he started doing the part camp in his hometown , part in manila, part in LA training camps.

you think if he trained full 8 weeks in LA would help?

instead of flying around all over the place?
