If there is no automatic rematch it's not because either fighter lacks confidence. It's because this $210 million dollar fight has to do very well to make money for the bidder. But this matchup should do historically well. After that, a unspoken rematch should kick in after the first fight proves it's the draw everyone expects it to be.

Think about it. If you pay over $200 million for one fight, wouldn't you want tangible proof to justify a $300 million dollar rematch ????

Unless there is a disaster of some kind, there will be a rematch. Too much money to be had.

Manny should not be allowed a rematch IMO. He can't win this fight and another fight won't change things.

What the hell are you talking about when you mention a bidder? What the hell is a bidder? This fight is not a product being sold at auction. There are no bidders. It is being promoted by Mayweather Promotions and Top Rank.

Didn't Freddie Roach say early in the negotiations that Floyd Mayweather was demanding a rematch clause? Obviously, Roach of either lying or just making **** up, just like Fat Dan and all the other bloggers who claim to be reporting information from knowledgeable sources.

LOL floyd on his knees right now praying that Pacquiao doesn't hurt him with the sparring gloves he will be forced to use. He hoped he made the right decision by waiting until he thought Pac declined some...

AND BOY... he will get STOMPED!! He will get destroyed and humiliated. Watch him get dropped twice in the first round and then outworked. Pacquiao gonna catch a murder case for real.

I see the Pacquaio loss excuses have already started. Pacquaio was forced to wear the wrong kind of glove. Floyd waited until Pacquaio declined (while Floyd at two years older is still in his prime).

The least you could have done is wait until the fight had reached the fourth or fifth round before you started with the excuses. Instead, you start with them hours after the fight is announced.

Nothing you said in this post makes any sense. Floyd is so paranoid that he demanded a rematch clause for every fight except this one? If he is so paranoid about losing, why would he not demand a rematch clause for this fight?

I been saying this all day it is su****ious as hell that Floyd didnt get a rematch clause. Why??? Is someone going to get injured and the fight is going to be cancelled? I hope not.

Pacquaio and Mayweather conspired with the hotel owners in Las Vegas to announce a fight they never planned to fight just so all the hotels could sell nonrefundable hotel rooms at outrageous prices for the weekend of May 2. That makes perfect sense!

If you understand negotiations you would understand that concessions are made throughout the negotiation process. I'm not saying Freddie is or isn't lying but you must understand that negotiation points can change.
